Our Story
We’re Asad Khabibullin from Berlin and Anton Kheistver from Krakow, two researchers passionate about family history. While exploring our own ancestries, we ran into the same challenges: figuring out how to start, finding reliable experts, dealing with language barriers, and navigating high costs. These struggles made us realize there had to be a better way.
That’s why we created GenGuru – an international platform designed to connect people with family history professionals. GenGuru is a one-stop solution where you can easily find specialists for different countries and a variety of services. Our platform features detailed expert profiles to build trust and transparency, helping users explore their family history in ways that fit their personal needs and budgets.
We see GenGuru as more than just a marketplace – it’s a growing platform with plans to introduce new tools and services to support the genealogy community in the future.
